LEGIT COFFEE - NO FIREPOWER!
Ghost Army Decaf is our Swiss Water Process, decaf, Fair-trade, Organic Papua New Guinea Purosa and is an exclusive!
We know there are a number of coffee companies out there who just plain refuse to carry decaf because they just don't think it's "real coffee". But there are many who like to enjoy the flavor without the buzz as an evening drink or just don't want the caffeine. If this is you... then we thought of all the details when it came to this roast.
Roasted to order...
Arriving on your doorstep at the PEAK of Flavor!
Why "Ghost Army" you may ask? What is Ghost Army? We are so happy you asked. During WWII the Ghost Army used inflatable tanks, sound effects, and imagination to fool the Germans on the battlefields of Europe. The unsung heroes of the 23rd Headquarters Special Troops and the 3133rd Signal Company Special saved thousands of lives and helped win the war, but their efforts were kept secret for fifty years and have yet to be officially recognized. The mission of The Ghost Army Legacy Project is to preserve and honor the legacy of these men. (Quoted from the Ghost Army Legacy Project Website.)
The image you see of the inflatable tank on the label for Ghost Army Decaf is a public domain photo which was graciously provided by Rick Beyer who produced The Ghost Army documentary featured in the trailer shown above. We hope to bring more attention to this amazing story and would like to see the Ghost Army soldiers (only ten are still alive) receive honors for their heroic efforts that saved countless lives! Visit Rick's site at GhostArmy.com or check out the Ghost Army Legacy Project to learn more or see how you can help out.
We made Ghost Army Decaf a dark roast to bring out all the flavors. Our Swiss Water Process, decaf, Fair-trade, Organic Papua New Guinea Purosa is an exclusive! The Swiss water process is a patented, eco-friendly, chemical-free process that removes 99.9% of the caffeine from the coffee bean. Each lot of decaf is immersed in clean water to extract the caffeine through osmosis and passed through activated carbon-charcoal to remove the caffeine molecules.
